Terms

The plain-language terms for using Agatha. Last updated June 2026.

The service

Agatha is a personal-assistant service operated by Brooks Nelson ("Agatha," "we," "us"). With your permission, Agatha reads your email to find dates, adds them to your calendar and tasks, and sends you reminders and daily briefs by text message. Agatha is offered by invitation to a small number of families.

SMS / text-message terms

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Agatha. These include:

Message frequency varies based on your schedule and how you use the service. Message & data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to cancel text messages; you'll receive one confirmation and then no more. Reply HELP for help, or email support@getagatha.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your responsibilities

Use the number you provide is one you control, keep your account access secure, and use Agatha for your own family's logistics. You can disconnect Agatha's access to your Google account at any time, which stops all processing.

What we provide it "as is"

Agatha is a helpful assistant, not a guarantee. We work hard to be accurate and to confirm before acting on anything uncertain, but you remain responsible for your own calendar and commitments. We are not liable for missed events, indirect damages, or carrier delivery issues.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy — in short: encrypted, never sold, never used to train AI, and your SMS opt-in data is never shared with anyone.
